Helen Disney set up Unblocked in 2017 as a hub for Blockchain events and education. A serial entrepreneur, she has founded 3 companies including her most recent project – Dots Ventures. She is a founding board member of the British Blockchain Industry Association and sits on the advisory board of the Distributed Ledger Foundation. Barclays has referred to her as a “Blockchain guru”
In 2018, she gave evidence to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Blockchain and chaired the UK’s first major Blockchain Alternative Investment Conference. From 2014-15 she worked at the Bitcoin Foundation communicating the innovative potential of Bitcoin to business and policymakers.
